TRIP TO VISHNO DEVI KATRA

dis was another grate outing to Vaishno Devi and it was special as wel for me as my best friend KAVITA was wid me along with my little chik VEERUn GEETA and few others ... Started the jouney at arnd 6.30 pm from Udhampur by bus .. it was fun as we meet few drunken monkeys in the bus who made it easier fo us to pass arnd 2 hrs in the bus and we reachd Katra at arnd 8.30 pm .. got tickets for the holly shrine fom one of the school mate ho joined us as well ..there were uncountable number of devotees there waiting for darshan but were were lucky and fortunate dat gotthe tickets without standing in the que ...
started the holy walk at arnd 9.30pm and reached ARDHAKAWARI at 12 .30 am .. KAVITA was suffering with some injury in her foot which was making it diffucult for her to walk but she dnt give up and coninud walking ... while VEERU ,PALLAVI and GEETA were enjoying there walk along side sharing there memories of old schooli days and narrating stories abt the past yrs ,,,KAVITA told me abt herboy friend as well ,,it was nice to hear dat she is in love again ...
SLowly we reached DARBAR at arnd 3.30 am .. TWO of kavita 's college friends were waiting for us there but we were not able to find then in dat rush ... so made and announcement there and finally we all met and did darshan quite nicely ... went to BAIRO GHATI after dat and reached KATRA BACK at arnd 12.30 pm ..

24 Hrs Of Heaven RIde

hey my last journey was tyhe best of my life .. we started at 10.30 pm from Udhampur (j&k) and uor destination was manali(420 kms) or Baijnath (360kms)and the target time we had kept was less than 24 Hrs ..

We were 4 guys and 2 Bikes 1 pulsar 180 cc and 1 Royal Enfield..It was my first Bike Safari to Himachal ,, and i wanted to complete it succefully ..so created some rules to follow throuhgt the ride ..A)..max speed 60 kms .,,B).. difference of arnd 20 foot betwwen bikes ,, C)..continous ride for 50 kms ,, d)...change seats after every 50 kms ..

Everything worked for us exactly the way we planned ,,few hurdles were there ... like1)..pulsar got punctured at 4.30 am which left us no where near DO NADI SANGAM IN HIMACHAL other than a live funneral fire where we took rest for three hrs.. then got the punctured fixed .2).. while returning Bikes were like exhausted coz of continuos driving ,, so we had a break for arnd an hr .. to give rest to the bike and let them cool a bit..3)..Bullet was not catching spark fro mthe battery ,, got it fixed at night arnd 9.30 pm at Samba 70 kn\ms from Jammu..At the end we completed the journey well in time and wereached home arnd 12.30 am next day..==

TRIUND TREKKING >>>>

Triund ..
It's a peak which is arnd 12 km height from mclowdganj ..We stared our trekking at arnd 8 inthe morning ..The track looked difficult but we dnt face any trouble to reach the top..we reached triund in arnd 4 hrs ..we saw only freigners in the way .. exceptionally unpredicatable climate amde it little dificult for us to reach the destination .. it was raining every now and then and the rocks became sluggish and slippery .. i flipped few times ..
we reached the top at arnd 2 pm and we were just stunned looking at screne ... large blocks of boulders and a unique kind of grass and flowers ..
we had our lunch there ..
we climbed thinking that its the top but it was not the end ,,, it was only the base for staring two days trekk from there to the valley of Chamba..
It started turning dark so we decided to turn back .. because of lack of time we couldnt complete that trekk but i wud go there again this yr and complete my incomplete journey of himalyan venture..

MCLOWDGANJ

Hey guys ..!

let me tell you about this place called Mclowdganj ..

This is one of the best places i have visited so far..Its ( 8 kms away from Dharmashala )also called the tibetian state in exile and the headquarter of dalai lama is also here .

When we entered the parking area ,It was like we are not in India . The no of foreigners was more that the domestic tourists ..

First came the Tibetian market and at the end was the Lamba Temple ,, a great historical budhist temple with emporium and handicraft market inside the complex ..

1 km away from the market comes the dakshu nath temple ..Fresh himalayan mountain flows from the temple and swiming pool of cold mountain water was just amazing ..

Ahead the temple area was the great waterfall .... it was outstanding experience reaching that water fall .. it took arnd 30 mins for us to reach the waterfall fro mthe temple ..

It was a sunny day but within few mins it started raining .. the climate was changing after every 1o mins .. we all stayed there in a small eating outlet there near the waterfall .. there were tourists all arnd the area taking pics of the amazing screne.... just can't explain those mountains ,, rocks ,,fresh water ,, big boulders and calm and composed crowd ..

There was a lake as well called mini dal lake there with boats to enjoy time there ..

hotel were also not expensve .. it took arnd Rs1000/- per room with night meal ..

if oyu ever get time do visit it ..It s a perfect outing place

NATHA TOP

FOLKS.. that is Natha Top (arnd 110kms from Jammu)... Its really an awesome place to visit .. may it be summers or winters ,, its always a chilling experience to be here..We enjoyed a lot here this time. We reached here at arnd 3.00 pm and the place was all covered with snow and crowd was amazing .. if you ever come across this region .. do visit this place .. you can easily find accomodation like hotels ,, transport and restuarants near by .. other places of attraction are Patni top (10 kms ),, Sanasar(10 kms) ,, Mantalai ( 40 kms )and Batote (25 kms)
